Funding and Ethical Research

The extensive and extended nature of the WOH project requires large-scale funding for its operations. Much of our work has been funded by The Wellcome Trust, BDF Newlife (UK), and St George's University, and we are extremely grateful for their support. Drs. Cross and Crosby are certified in human subject research, and adhere to the strictest ethical protocols governed by Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) which are  required for approval of funding.  Specific IRB-approved consent forms and appropriate information documents have been generated for each disorder under investigation and are provided to all individuals who participate in the studies.
